Fifty shades of grey hair
Since her forties, my mother stopped dying her hair and went for the grey.
I think this is just a great natural look if you are not afraid to dare. She is an inspiration for my future self!
And grey is a beautiful color if you take good care of it.
So, how do you wear grey hair?
First, grey does not mean short. Getting older, women tend to cut their hair, which indeed looks good on lots of women but is not a must do.
If you feel like keeping your hair long, that can be very inspiring!
The only thing you have to do is to take very good care of it with moisturizers and specific grey hair products so they do not turn yellow, said my grandma who has white hair and is an hairdresser. (Oh by the way, smoking is very bad for grey hair… gives them a yellowish hue… but that is mostly a problem for ourselves, the smoking addict french women. I am not one of them though ^^ and still have brown hair).
Here are pictures of beautiful women with long grey hair:
Sarah Harris, Yasmina Rossi and Cindy Joseph
Yasmina Rossi and Cindy Joseph are around sixty and had the courage to keep their hair both long and grey. Here, worn with a chic look like Yasmina they bring an edgy touch to her attitude. Wouldn’t look the same in blond, wouldn’t she? For Cindy Joseph, the braided hair matches her bohemian look without looking neglected.
You’ve probably noticed how young Sarah Harris seems to be although she has grey hair. That’s because she is indeed! This editor at Vogue claims she was just nineteen when she discovered her first white hair and that she never changed her heir color ever since. Now her hair are her style signature and make her stand out.

She is daring and can be casual chic or edgy sexy.
If you wanna have a classic and very elegant look, go for the bob.

If you feel rock and roll, go for the graphic cut
Kate Lanphear by Garance Doré (who looks a bit lagerfeldish here)
Also ladies, I wanted to underline the fact that grey has been fashionable since a few years. Although, this blog is more about style than about trends, I had to mention it because before, no one would have thought any woman would dare intentionally die her hair grey.

Grey hair looks good with every style: bohemian, classic, rock, glam, etc.
For the makeup, prefer natural tones for the day and add a smoky and mascara when going out.
And you, do you wear your hair natural grey? Do you intent to do so later?
I think I do!
